Build your bin your way.
When BSFL are ready to harvest, they'll do the work for you. The Grub Escape just gives them somewhere to go.
Black Soldier Fly prepupae have a built-in instinct — when they're fat and ready to pupate, they migrate upward and out of the bin on their own. The Grub Escape is a self-harvesting ramp that takes advantage of exactly that. Mount it to your bin, set a collection container underneath, and let them walk themselves right into it. No digging through substrate. No manual sorting. Just a pile of ready-to-harvest larvae waiting for you.
How it works: The ramp fits standard tote-style bins and mounts with the included hardware. As prepupae mature, they climb the ramp and drop into your collection container — a bowl, a bucket, whatever you're using. That's it. The biology does the harvesting.
